I have always been interested in the Civil War (by whichever name you use) and the way conversations on the subject seem to skyrocket from “mild-disagreement” to “nuke the bastard” in such a short span of time.
It seems to be a subject very few people can remain moderate for very long.
After reading an article by Mr. James W. Loewen and the very lengthy collection of comments it garnered, I thought I would like to open a forum for discussion of the subject in a more neutral field.
Whatever your opinion, or flavor of that opinion, I invite you to join in as we discuss the events and purposes of that noble conflict of a century ago.
